Redesigning a nonprofit’s website to better serve their multiple audiences.
Nebraska Early Childhood CollaborativeNECC needed a redesigned Wordpress website that could better support its growing organization, improve access to information for diverse audiences, and provide staff with a platform that was easier to update and maintain.
The ChallengeWith a large volume of content serving multiple audiences, visitors were struggling to find information quickly. The organization also needed a modern website that reflected its mission while giving staff a more flexible and sustainable way to manage content.
My ApproachRather than simply redesigning the website, I focused on creating a clearer, more intuitive experience for both visitors and administrators.
The project included:
Reorganizing the site's information architecture.
Simplifying navigation across a 48-page website.
Modernizing the visual design to improve readability and accessibility.
Creating a flexible content structure that is easier for staff to maintain.
Optimizing the experience across desktop and mobile devices.
the outcomeThe redesigned website provides a more intuitive experience for families, educators, and community partners while giving the NECC team a scalable platform that supports future growth.
“Working with Renée was a wonderful experience! She is incredibly organized and always remained on top of the project. She worked efficiently, especially on the tight deadline we had.
We have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback and compliments on the new site from partners, clients, our Board of Directors, and funders. I cannot recommend working with her enough.”
